Froggy Tuesday

Brandon and I are convinced that we live in a "no rain zone" ...as we call it. It hardly ever seems to rain at our house!! There will be dark skies, lightening and thunder and look like a freaking tornado and it will not rain a drop!! However yesterday we did get a good 20 min shower...I was so happy too! My elephant ears that Brandon and I planted aren't anywhere where they should be growth wise...the grass is dead and ugly. I love to have a pretty yard but this summer has just ruined that!!

Anyway, back to the rain. I moved my impatiens out so they could get some rain. Before bed I went to move them back under the awning and there I found a pretty green tree frog. He kinda startled me at first but then I rannnn and got my *new* camera. Harley was quite confused on why I was outside at bed time taking pics!! I was able to get a cute one of her looking through the window at me.

**Weekend Fun**

Brandon and I had another great weekend with friends and family!!

Friday night, we went to Mandy and Coy's house and grilled out with Tabetha and Adam and played Wii!! It was so much fun, we really enjoyed it!

Saturday, we came back to Opelika because we had to go to a wedding that evening. During the day we shopped around a little and met up with Woman and Sissy and the boys. Brandon taught Jace to say "I'm a M A N" and show his muscles!!! So now when you ask him if he is a baby or a boy he'll say "no I'm a M A N" and give you the look below!!!

Earlier in the week Harley and I went on a walk with Linda and Kingsley and she was WORN out!!

She loves to be the co-pilot!! It drives Brandon crazy!!

After the wedding Saturday, we came back to AC because woman had the boys so we decided to keep her company!! We took them to BK with intentions to eat and play....BUT it was a wee bit crowded in the playground area so we decided to take them to the imagination station before it got dark!! I just HAPPENED to have my new camera so I was able to get a few shots of the boys playing...

Sunday, Brandon and I decided that we were gonna stop by sears really quick and look at the TV's (we need a new bigger one to go over our mantel). Harley was not very pleased she had to stay in the car for a min or two!!!

Like I said, we were just going to look.....BUT we ended up finding a really really good deal on one so we got one!!!! YAY! They were about to close and we didn't have time to take Har back home, so we decided to "make it work" haha!! Since we ended up getting the Plasma it couldn't lean, it had to sit straight up. So, I had to lean back in my seat and hold it up allllllll the way home from the mall!!! Not to mention Harley was freaking out because she was cramped!

HA! she was so mad!!

All in all, we had a great weekend and the TV is going to look perfect over the mantel!!

Atlanta

This past weekend, Brandon and I celebrated our 1st anniversary :) We got up early Saturday morning and headed to Atlanta. We at tickets to aquarium and we had to be there at 10 their time so we had to leave bright and early. We got there just on time! The aquarium was AMAZING...I felt like the biggest kid "woooo Brandon looook" haha. I really loved but I felt like we went through it very fast...I really expected it to be at least a 2 hr thing, but we were finished in an hour. So we looked around a bit and decided to try and go find some lunch. We (Brandon) decided to walk around some downtown..... :- / anyone who knows me knows I DO NOT LIKE BEING HOT! and of course it was 1,000 degrees that day. Keep in mind that we haven't ever really been down town Atl and we didn't have any idea where we were going but we just kept WALKING! Our ultimate goal was to find the Hardrock Cafe and to have lunch there. We discovered while walking that it was very crowded downtown....we just happen to be there during the National Black Art Festival, which to say the least was very interesting. There was music from all over the world being played and tons of people. Finally after walking forever (in circles it seemed) we caught a cab..."can you take us to the Hardrock Cafe?"...."sure, 10$". I'm thinking okay...$10 we must be a good bit away!!! We make 2 freaking turns and we are there!!!!! By this time I'm sweating like a ....well anyway. So we eat lunch which was very good and we decide to head back toward the Coca Cola Factory because we have tickets to that as well. When we get there the line is LOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGG!! and it's hot! so we decide to skip that and head back to the car and sit in the air condition! We also had tickets to the braves game that night at 7:00 and it was only 1:00 so we had to find something to do for 5+ hrs! We rode around for a bit and had some interesting adventures......some I really don't want to think about again lol and we finally just parked at Turner Field and waited on the game. It rained some while we were in the car which made it even more HUMID!!! The game really wasn't that bad! we had seats under the terrace so our seats were dry (a plus since I was wearing white shorts). The Braves ended up losing but we had a fun and VERY UNFORGETTABLE time!

-On a side note....on the night we got married...we ran out of food at the wedding so a friend of ours went and got us some Burger King...so we decided to make it a tradition for us to eat Burger King some time around our anniversary...we decided to stop and get some on our way home back from Atl :)

Sunday, we got up and went to Cracker Barrel for anniversary breakfast. We also had to go to AC to pick Harley up and eat our cake topper. I sure missed Har Har and our cake was actually pretty good!!
